Job Opportunity: Administration Support Officer
Contract Duration: 6 months
Commencement: Immediate start
Location: Perth, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday –37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $39.88 per hour +super

About the Role
The PTA is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Administration Support Officer to join the Network & Infrastructure Division for a 6-month contract. This role is essential in providing general administrative and clerical support, enabling operational staff to focus on core functions.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:
  • P2P data entry and invoice processing for suppliers/contractors
  • Word processing and basic document control (e.g. formatting)
  • General data entry
  • Housekeeping duties including tidying meeting rooms, kitchens, and stationery areas
  • Maintaining office supplies and kitchen stock
  • Greeting and assisting visitors (e.g. interview attendees)
  • Processing direct purchase order requests
  • Providing backup support for Administrative Officer roles
  • Participating as a constructive member of the Business Support Branch
Other Duties:
  • Performing tasks within skill and training limits
  • Supporting a safe workplace
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of administrative processes
  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to liaise effectively across all levels
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with database applications
