Test Lead/ Test Manager 
 
Work type- 12-months contract
Location - ACT - Onsite - At least 4 days on site 
Security clearance - Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
 
DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced  Test Lead to join our Government Client team. 
 
Role responsibilities
  • Will be responsible for ensuring consistency in test disciplines and will establish, govern and uphold test frameworks, standards and procedures.
  • Work closely with Project managers and Delivery leads to manage risks and issues related to testing activities
  • Assisting the business in prioritising and maintaining backlog
  • Identify opportunities for test automation to enhance efficiency, coverage and accuracy of testing activities
  • Maintaining relevant metrics to monitor, control, manage and report progress and forecasts while managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests
  • Receives and passes on technical information to the project stakeholders about development progress and status
  • Work effectively in a small team environment.
  • Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members
  • Record and maintain files/information in accordance.
Skills
  • Apply strong knowledge of testing methodologies while rapidly acquiring and adapting to the existing systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Utilise expertise in Python development, Linux environments, and Ansible (or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools) to support test activities.
  • Design and implement automated testing solutions aligned with DevOps practices and integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work within Agile methodologies to support iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Perform testing in environments involving IP protocols, IaaS, and PaaS technologies.
