Are you an experienced and driven Paralegal looking for a fast-paced and rewarding role? We’re seeking highly organised and adaptable professionals to join our client’s team, supporting legal operations in the WorkCover space.

About the Role
In this role, you will provide comprehensive paralegal and administrative assistance to legal staff, playing a key part in litigation and claims support.
You will also undertake tasks that involve document preparation, research, trial support, discovery processes, and coordination of legal documentation and meetings.
This role is being offered on a 6 month contract, with the possibility to extend and will be located at the clients Brisbane City office.
Key Responsibilities
You will be a motivated and process-oriented team player with a strong interest in legal practice and a willingness to learn. You’ll have demonstrated experience in providing paralegal or legal administrative support and a sound understanding of legal procedures and documentation. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

- Filing and serving legal documents, conducting searches, and compiling briefs and files
- Supporting the discovery process including inspection, copying, and preparing lists of documents
- Drafting routine court documentation and correspondence
- Coordinating meetings, mediations, and interviews
- Assisting with trial preparation and attending hearings as needed
- Maintaining bring-up systems and other organisational tools
- Liaising with clients, Counsel, legal professionals, expert witnesses, and stakeholders
- Managing time recording, billing support, and document indexing and redacting
- Participating in legal research and witness interviews
- Meeting quality and performance targets
