Our Queensland Government client is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary where you will play a key role supporting legal professionals and the executive legal secretary to ensure timely, accurate and professional services are delivered.

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support, including:
- High‑level, accurate word processing and typing
- Complex document formatting (Word, PowerPoint and PDFs)
- Preparing briefs, legal documents and routine correspondence
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Coordinating travel and accommodation
- Maintaining information and records using spreadsheets and legal/case management systems (including VisualFiles)
- Diary management, meeting and conference coordination
- Assisting with billing, time recording and meeting financial deadlines
- Supporting compliance with legal expense and counsel fee procedures
- Demonstrated experience providing secretarial and administrative support in a legal environment
- Strong word processing and document‑formatting skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced setting
- Clear, professional communication and sound problem‑solving skills
- A willingness to learn, adapt and work collaboratively
