We’re currently seeking an AO5/1-level professional to join a reputable Queensland Government team based in Cairns. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, review, and report on project and contract delivery standards using work order management systems such as Ellipse.
- Manage service contracts across various preventative maintenance activities, including contractor and trade supervision.
- Maintain detailed and accurate equipment and system records in Ellipse; manage data reporting and documentation via Excel and Word.
- Report to stakeholders on project delivery, service quality, and expenditure tracking.
- Liaise with industry partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, quality service delivery.
- Lead and participate in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) audits; conduct regular site inspections.
- Interpret and apply technical specifications and service frequency requirements in the maintenance coordination process.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to QBuild clients, supporting project goals and compliance obligations.
- Respond to correspondence and inquiries promptly, escalating as needed and providing accurate, timely responses.
- Contribute to procedure development, register maintenance, and general administrative functions.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation, manuals, and procedural updates to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Previous experience with Ellipse or similar asset/work order management systems (highly desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong experience in contract administration and contractor coordination.
- Sound understanding of technical building services, specifications, and WHS principles.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong organisational, documentation, and report-writing skills.
- Prior experience in Queensland Government or related public sector environment (advantageous).
