Our state government client is seeking numerous experienced ICT Service Officers to assist with the roll out of the Digital Medical Record (DMR) program in Nedlands, WA.  

Rate: $45-55 per hour plus Super depending on experience (equiv. $90,666 per annum plus casual loading)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) 
Duration: 3 months only (no option for an extension) 
Location: Nedlands, WA
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate) 

Start date: 17 August 2025 

Job Title: ICT Service Support Officer 

Overview: 
Deliver frontline ICT support across digital workspaces and WA Health environments, ensuring smooth operations, quality service, and customer satisfaction. 

Project: Digital Medical Record (DMR) Program 

Key Responsibilities: 
Technical Support & Operations 
  • Provide first-level ICT support for digital devices and applications. 
  • Install, test, and maintain digital workspaces in line with Standard Operating Environments (SOE) and quality procedures. 
  • Maintain records of system access for staff and authorised users. 
  • Deliver onsite support across metro locations in line with ICT service management protocols. 
  • Maintain ICT configuration data, including equipment and user locations. 
Customer Service 
  • Foster a customer-focused approach to enhance service performance and reduce user friction. 
  • Operate as part of a mobile, responsive support team. 
  • Provision, maintain, and remove access to WA Health systems and services (including external users). 
  • Offer advice and guidance on digital tools and standard applications. 
  • Address and escalate customer complaints using conflict resolution skills. 
Policy & Continuous Improvement 
  • Assist in updating support documentation and procedures. 
  • Follow service management policies and contribute to process improvements. 
  • Support knowledge base upkeep, FAQs, and related resources. 
  • Stay current on ICT and digital health trends. 
  • Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance of digital devices and software. 
About You: 
  • Demonstrated experience within an ICT Service Officer position (min 3-5 years) 
  • Experience within a medium to large organisation 
  • Previous government experience highly advantageous 
  • Reliable, committed and proactive 
  • Great communication
Pre-requirements:  
  • Full working rights within Australia for the duration of the contract 
  • Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) 
  • Current HE number (or ability to obtain)
