Job description

  • Multiple Federal Government opportunities in Surry Hills
  • 12-month contracts with the possibility of extension
  • $42.54 per hour + super
Out Federal Government Client is currently seeking multiple APS4 Business Support Officer to join their Surry Hills Team.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the Leadership Team by managing and collating data in reports and dashboards to inform strategic and operational planning.
  • Monitoring and actioning correspondence and assigning/actioning internal work items.
  • Effectively managing and reporting on a portfolio of work within given timeframes.
  • Maintenance of organisational charts, distribution lists, templates and records management.
  • Investigation, research, analysis, administrative and project support for the Leadership Team and State Manager’s office.
  • Undertaking research and contributing to reports.
  • Assisting planners to research support options available for participants and responding to enquiries and providing guidance to participants.
  • Coordinating and organising executive meetings and community forums.
  • Receiving, analysing and accurately recording complaints and other feedback.
  • Managing team inbox and appointment/calendar systems.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to review data and undertake research and analysis of data.
  • Ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
  • Ability to synthesise and analyse information and make decisions.
  • Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability.
