The Opportunity 

Join a dynamic team delivering meaningful insights that shape service delivery and improve outcomes. On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for APS5 and APS6 Business Analysts to join the team focused on performance reporting, data modelling and continuous improvement. This is a 12 month assignment and can be based in Richmond or Geelong (with hybrid work arrangements available). 

Key responsibilities include; 
  • Extracting, analysing and presenting data using Excel, SAS and Salesforce to support reporting and projection activities 
  • Building, refining and maintaining complex forecast and projection models
  • Produce forecasting reports, data visualisations and operational insights to support strategic planning
  • Interpret performance trends in the context of business operations 
  • Apply statistical modelling to support forecasting and performance monitoring

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate; 
  • Strong expertise in MS Excel (including Power Query, Pivot Tables and Advanced Formulas) 
  • Sound knowledge of forecasting and statistical modelling methods 
  • Experience working with SAS data libraries and reporting tools 
  • Ability to connect data insights with business and performance outcomes 
  • Experience with Salesforce analytical tools or BI reporting 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
