We are seeking APS5 Quality Assurance Officers for a Federal Government department located in Greenway ACT. This contract is up to 12 months, which includes paid leave and 15.4% superannuation.

The APS5 Quality Assurance Officers are responsible for administration work and assuring the decisions and reviews made by the IDMs are correctly drafted and reflect the legislation, rules and policy of the National Redress Scheme.

What you will do:
- conduct detailed research and analysis
- keep accurate and comprehensive records (including report writing, case notes, and official records)
- provide quality control and quality assurance on applications for redress and check the work quality of others (IDMs)
- communicate confidently through written and verbal communication and present messages in a clear, concise and articulate way
- develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internal and external
- apply legislation, policies, procedures and records management requirements
- apply high level research and analytical skills to make accurate conclusions based on available information and legislation
- Apply relevant redactions to documents against the Policy Guidelines
- demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment whilst in a diverse team with high workload in a high risk environment
