Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced and proactive Wellbeing and Performance Case Manager to join the Employee Relations team. As a central agency of the Australian Government, this department plays a pivotal role in delivering outcomes across diverse policy areas. They manage the Federal Budget process, support public sector reform, provide strategic advice on government priorities, and maintain leading practice in governance and resource management.

As a Wellbeing and Performance Case Manager, you will:
- Provide case management services for employees, including early intervention, injury management, and performance support.
- Deliver practical advice on legislative, regulatory, and procedural matters relating to wellbeing and performance.
- Partner with business areas to implement strategies that promote sustained performance improvement, using APS Work Level Standards and the Integrated Leadership System.
- Contribute to the management and improvement of the Rehabilitation Management System (RMS) and organisational wellbeing initiatives.
- Participate in professional development, such as psychological first aid and resilience training, to strengthen your capacity to navigate challenging conversations.
- Promote a safe, ethical, and respectful workplace aligned with APS Values and the APS Code of Conduct.
- Experience in early intervention, rehabilitation, performance case management, or work health and safety.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, or the ability to quickly acquire it (including WHS Act 2011, Public Service Act 1999, SRC Act 1988, and APS Commissioner’s Directions 2022).
- High-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
