About the role
 
Debriefing is the process of providing respondents with feedback on the assessment outcomes for their submission to an approach to market. In accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), all respondents, are entitled to receive a verbal debriefing from the department, on request.
 
The Debriefing Officer would be required to undertake a range of purchasing and project management activities, which may include:
  • Provide a written analysis of the assessment response that clearly articulates its strengths and weaknesses
  • Have a strong attention to detail, to develop business allocation debriefings scripts
Skills and Experience
  • High level of written and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make informed judgements.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, an ability to manage competing priorities, and a high degree of flexibility,
  • An ability to multitask and to provide a high level of support to team members, and senior management.
