Job description

DFP Recruitment have partnered with a Federal Government Agency to fill an APS6 Partner Program position on a temporary 12-month contract based in Robina.
The role is offering 37.5 hours per week, paying $58.50 an hour + super. 

The Role
You will work across the Partner Division and engage more widely with stakeholders across the agency to assist with developing strategies, policies and processes that support Partner Program outcomes. 
The branch is accountable for designing a Partner Program that is financially sustainable and suitable for customers, ensuring the delivery of services are viable and sustainable and ensuring all recommendations and advice to customers is based on research and evidence.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 
  • Supporting the delivery of specific projects and initiatives to assist the Partner Program Branch implement the LAC Approach.
  • Identifying and supporting activities to raise the profile and understanding of Partners in the Community.
  • Undertaking project governance, coordination and reporting activities.
  • Reviewing and evaluating literature and data to inform evidence-based project activities.
  • Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, briefs, reports and branch resources as required.
  • Reviewing information and processes for compliance with legislation, policy, contracts and agreements.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of processes, tools and templates.

About you: 
  • Demonstrated ability to write high quality documents; ideally experience writing government or other formal documents 
  • Ability to read and analyse complex information to provide recommendations
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous but not essential 
  • Experience working on projects or policy development within state or federal government 
  • Experience developing stakeholder relationships
