Portfolio Analyst | 12 Month Labour Hire Contract (2x 12 Month Extensions Available) | APS6 Equivalent
About the Client:
Our client is a government organisation leading national digital health initiatives. They are seeking an APS6 Portfolio Analyst to support the uplift and delivery of best practice across programs and projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
About the Role:
As a Portfolio Analyst (APS6) within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), you will play a key role in implementing and embedding portfolio management frameworks, tools, and processes. You’ll work closely with Directors and Managers to ensure effective planning, performance monitoring, and assurance across a diverse portfolio of programs and projects.

- Resource planning and benefits monitoring
- Performance reporting and analysis
- Program and project management support
- Risk and issue tracking
- Governance and committee support
- Assurance monitoring and review
- Methods and tools support
- PPM system support
- Knowledge management
Skills and Experience:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in assurance activities such as project health checks and gate reviews
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Office 365
- Experience supporting portfolio prioritisation and planning
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
Essential Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance (or higher if required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a national police check
Desirable Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in project management
- Certifications in MSP, Prince2, PMBOK, Agile, or similar
