DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Analyst to join our Government Client team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilise technical expertise and specialist knowledge of business rules to investigate, diagnose, and resolve ICT system issues.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with business users, technical teams, and customers.
- Work closely and communicate clearly with multiple internal stakeholders and external vendors to identify and rectify issues.
- Apply and promote ITIL best-practice methodology, using an ITSM system to investigate, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests across Level 1 and Level 2 queues.
- Validate complex business problems by distinguishing between system (IT) issues and business rule (operational) issues.
- Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel, including identifying trends and root causes.
- Understand and support the replication and testing of issues across SIT, UAT, and BVT environments.
- Complete tasks required to support application release cycles and ongoing business functions.
- Mentor team members in Business Application support standards and best practices.
- 5+ years’ experience in an ICT support role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting either SAP or Salesforce platforms.
- Proven experience using an ICT Service Management tool and applying ITIL methodology for incident and service request management.
- Comfortable with new approaches to accessibility, with a strong enthusiasm for accessible and inclusive design and development.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and report on data using Microsoft Excel.
