About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Program Manager to support the Senior Manager of Procurement, Supply Chain & FCS. This role focuses on Finance, Procurement, Corporate PMO, and Commercial Operations domains.
As a strategic leader, you will bring strong people skills and proactive problem-solving capabilities to manage complex business transformation initiatives. You will enable successful adoption of new ways of working through effective change management and digital enablement. Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Digital & Data Transformation, Commercial Operations, and PMO will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain program and project plans, covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Track benefit realization and success metrics as defined in the business case.
  • Promote and uphold McLaren program culture and values across all deliverables.
  • Lead strategic planning, concept development, options analysis, and business case preparation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, translating strategic objectives into actionable programs.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery, monitor progress, risks, and dependencies, and report to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and leverage digital tools to drive transformation and change adoption.
  • Evaluate program benefits, capture lessons learned and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale business transformation programs, preferably in the energy and utilities sector.
  • Strong understanding of finance systems, procurement processes, and PMO frameworks.
  • Expertise in Waterfall and Agile methodologies; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and trends in utilities.
  • Experience with change management frameworks and tools.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Planview, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
