Job description

DFP Recruitment are looking for experienced APS4 Business Support Officer's to join our client within a Government Department within the Disability Sector. There are multiple positions available and will be based within Perth CBD, providing support to the Case Management team. The role is working full time initially on a 12-month contract with strong view of extension.
 
The Role
 
As a Business Support Officer, you will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge across service delivery areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities.
 
You will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
 
  • Supporting the Leadership Team by managing and collating data in reports and dashboards to inform strategic and operational planning.
  • Supporting National Delivery staff to deliver exemplary customer service to achieve the best outcomes for participants.
  • Monitoring and actioning correspondence (email) and assigning and actioning internal work items within service standards.
  • Effectively managing and reporting on a portfolio of work within given timeframes.
  • Maintenance of organisational charts, distribution lists, templates and records management as required.
  • Investigation, research, analysis, administrative and project support for the Leadership Team and State Manager’s office.
  • Assist with onboarding of new staff.
  • Allocation of new matters, and re-allocation of matters.
  • Following up exception reporting ensuring items are actioned.
  • Assisting the team with escalations of invoicing confirmations.
  • Oversight of Compliance ensuring standards are met.

Stakeholder Management
  • Provide quality advice to stakeholders and deliver a responsive service within area of expertise. Contact with stakeholders is in terms of comprehensive advice, support and resolution of issues.
