Job Title: Change Manager (ICT)
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: 6 month Casual Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: Competitive
Location: East Perth, WA 6004
Role Overview: The Change Management and Communications Lead drives stakeholder engagement and adoption of new systems by executing and measuring communication strategies
 
 
Key Responsibilities;
  • Influence stakeholders to ensure engagement, participation and adoption of new systems, business processes and tools;
  • Develop and execute a communication strategy and plan that aligns to the Change management strategy.
  • Develop measurement metrics for the communication to track and report on effectiveness
  • Weekly milestone updates to Manager, Transformation Change
  • Submission of weekly timesheets using the customers nominated timesheet system RCTI.
  • Monthly Project Status Reporting (PSR) in-line with DEMIRS reporting guidelines to the Project Sponsor and BID Project Manager/Manager Transformational Change for each assigned project
  • Regular progress meetings with Manager Transformational Change and or General Manager, Business Engagement
  • Conduct preliminary communication and change impact analysis across the business, to identify stakeholders, including those areas impacted by the change to the ICT systems and associated business process changes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and develop a Change Management and Communications Strategy that aligns to the project plan, and effectively manages all aspects of change and communication activities which are introduced by the project to all impacted parties;
  • Develop meaningful and targeted communications to support the implementation of ICT projects
  • Identify and develop a set of actionable and targeted change and communication initiatives that are aligned to the directorate and projects strategy to mitigate or address any gaps; Plans should include stakeholders’ engagement, communication, training, knowledge transfer, operation support post go-live and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Transformational Change, BID Director and/or IT Ops teams to integrate communication activities into the overall project, budget and business schedules;
  • Comply with departmental change methodology framework and recommended toolsets;
  • Develop and maintain a detailed work plan and schedule to ensure deliverables are met within agreed timeframes; and
  • Identify, report and manage change and communication issues/risks to resolution.
 
 
 
Essential to be successful in this role;
  • Experience in identifying, planning and managing the business readiness requirements for the project/s and managing the change components to agreed quality expectations and aligned to project timeframes and budgets;
  • Experience in influencing stakeholders to ensure engagement, participation and adoption of new systems, business tools and processes etc.
  • Experience of three years at a minimum in managing business change within a technology context for diverse user groups within an ICT project or program context.  This applies to all specified personnel.
  • Experience in developing tailored communications to inform and influence key stakeholders and departmental staff.
  • Current valid NPC or able to obtain one
