We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team. This is a pivotal role that will lead financial strategy, oversee finance and payroll operations, and manage our outsourced IT provider to ensure operational excellence and sustainable growth.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will provide strategic and operational leadership across Finance, Payroll, and Information Systems. You will play a central role in shaping DFP’s financial future, ensuring long-term sustainability, robust governance, innovation and high-performing service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the finance functions, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting,
and effective cash flow and investment management.
· Ensure compliance with financial, tax, audit, and payroll obligations, supported by
strong internal controls.
· Oversee payroll operations understanding employment legislation and
modern awards.
· Drive finance transformation, including system upgrades and automation.
· Review contracts, support tender pricing, and oversee client reporting.
· Manage outsourced IT provider relationships and ensure secure,
scalable service delivery.
· Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and
continuous improvement.
· Represent DFP in high-level negotiations and communications with
external stakeholders.
· Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion through inclusive leadership and
culture-building.
About You
· CA/CPA qualification with tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Business.
· 7–10+ years’ experience in senior finance leadership roles.
· Experience in recruitment, labour hire, or professional services.
· Knowledge of payroll and information systems.
· Experience in governance, compliance, and risk management.
· Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Proven ability to lead teams, drive improvements and manage change.
