We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Strategic Procurement and Contracts Division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of high-risk contracts, driving compliance, and supporting business areas with best-practice contract management processes. You will play a key role in delivering strategic procurement outcomes, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and mitigating risk across complex contractual arrangements.

You will play a key role in delivering strategic procurement outcomes, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and mitigating risk across complex contractual arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assess compliance of high-risk contracts, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed terms, milestones, and pricing.
- Undertake contract compliance reporting, including performance reviews, relationship management, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
- Provide guidance on contract management policies, procedures, and best practice to business areas.
- Lead business planning and scoping for allocated projects, identifying and progressing new contract opportunities.
- Offer specialist advice on contract planning, development, renewal, and extension strategies.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Advise on contract management standards, compliance obligations, and risk management.
- Prepare reports and presentations on contractual matters and procurement processes for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with government, agency, and public sector procurement policies and processes.
- Provide proactive, timely advice and contribute to stakeholder education and awareness.
- Mentor and support team members to build capability and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in contract management within a complex, high-risk environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement frameworks, compliance obligations, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, develop strategies, and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in mentoring and supporting team members is highly desirable.
