The Opportunity 
DFP Recruitment are assisting our State Government client, who are responsible for the sustainable management and development of Western Australia’s forest products industry, using plantation, sandalwood and native forest products on land owned or leased by the State. We are seeking the experience of multiple Contracts Officer/Procurement Officers, this opportunity will be a 3 month assignment with option to extend and will be based in Perth CBD. 

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for preparing full lifecycle tender and contract administration documentation (e.g. RFT/RFQ, evaluation reports, award letters and variation letters) while applying standard WA procurement rules, probity and accountability principles. As facilitator, the successful candidate(s) will also be required to provide procurement advice and guidance to operational staff and evaluation panels throughout procurement processes.

*You will demonstrate; 
  • Knowledge of contract administration practices, policies and procedures, particularly in the context of Government procurement;
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills;
  • Time management/organisational skills;
  • Analytical and investigative skills;
  • Experience facilitating Government tenders valued from tens of thousands to millions of dollars
