Senior Windows System Administrator /Windows 11 MOE Specialist
  • 3-months contract with possible extension (Full time onsite)

DFP Recruitment is hiring for Two Open positions - Senior Windows System Administrator and Windows 11 MOE Specialist for our State Gov client based in Pert, WA.
 
Role-1: Senior Windows System Administrator - Key duties and responsibilities:
 
Leads the system administration team, and provides system administration services including capacity planning, service monitoring, backup, archiving and recovery for M365 / Azure / Private Cloud services, including virtual and physical servers, storage systems, corporate systems, SQL Server, and the delivery of these capabilities though as-a-service (Cloud). Supports the planning and implementation of new ICT services, and ensures a satisfactory service is provided to internal and external clients. Liaises with external suppliers and service providers relating to infrastructure services contracts, renewals and management.
 
Key Skills: 
  • Considerable experience in system administration services, including experience in Microsoft Azure, PowerShell and Office 365 services, with practical experience in defining, installation, configuration, tuning and maintenance of corporate systems and networks that work in a hybrid environment.
  • Sound knowledge and application of risk management strategies and change management practices particularly as they pertain to the provision, and integration of system administration services.
  • Considerable experience in problem determination and resolution, and ability to research complex issues, analyse data and deliver effective solutions that meet business needs.
  • Well-developed communication skills, including written and oral communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and supervising multidisciplinary and cross functional teams and can understand the organisations objectives and align operational activities accordingly.
 
Role 2- Windows 11 MOE Specialist - Key duties and responsibilities:

Reliable team member that is capable of self-managing workloads related to assisting in Tier2 support for Windows11 and modern enterprise applications. Supports the planning and onboarding of new services, works in conjunction with the Service Desk and System Administration team to ensure a reliable and satisfactory service is provided to internal and external clients.
 
Key Skills:

MOE management (Intune/Entra/Defender) :
  • Autopilot profiles
  • Pre-provisioning machines
  • Graph scripting (PowerShell) to automate administration and reporting tasks
  • Intune client Configurations and remediations
Application Packaging:
  • Intune direct app packaging
  • PatchMyPC Intune middleware
  • Package wrapping and User interaction programming (using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit)
Security:
  • Applocker reporting
  • KQL log parsing
  • Application control ruleset maintenance
 Helpdesk 2nd line support:
  • Assistance on VIP cases
  • Troubleshooting complex cases with Windows 11, Mac OS and Windows-based Enterprise Applications.
