Kalgoorlie | Full-Time | Immediate Start
Monday to Friday hours – home every night
Hourly rate plus super plus penalties ( camp based work ) 

 
Are you a skilled Service Technician looking for a stable, locally based role in Kalgoorlie? Join our growing Service team and work on industry‑leading compressed air equipment—no FIFO and no long swings away from home.
This is an immediate start opportunity for someone currently living in Kalgoorlie who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem solving, and delivering great service to customers.
About the Role
As a Service Technician, you’ll carry out maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on compressed air equipment and generators across the region. The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, allowing you to return home each night, with occasional overnight stays only when required on client mine sites.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on air compressors and generators
  • Perform repairs and scheduled servicing, including:
    • Oil and filter changes
    • Cleaning coolers
    • Motor re‑greasing
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow all safety procedures, including JSA completion and PPE compliance
  • Occasional travel within Australia (and rarely internationally) for service support
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a mechanical maintenance or field service environment
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Australian Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Experience with pneumatic equipment and compressed air systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
  • Must be based in Kalgoorlie (this is not a FIFO role)
