Job description

  • Federal government opportunity in Sydney CBD
  • 12-month contract with possibility of extension
  • $600 - $800 per day + Super

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Working in partnership with business units to understand business needs, gather data requirements and develop an enterprise data model, and assist project teams with implementation.
  • Provide advice to projects and apply expertise in native cloud implementation including developing and maintaining the logical and physical data models consistent with enterprise standards and objectives.
  • Perform metadata design and maintenance, developing and maintaining the formal description of the data and data structures.
  • Design project data integration and data migration activities, advising on the transition from current to desired state.
  • Contribute to building the capability by mentoring, training, and providing expert advice to other staff.
  • Develop standards and assist with the selection and implementation of systems for Master Data and Reference Data management.
  • Managing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have:
  • Bachelors Degree in computing, information Systems or another relevant field and extensive experience within Data or information Architecture
  • Ability to lead and communicate the strategic direction of technology to assist in the development of enterprise architecture within the team, internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of common information architecture frameworks including informational models, information security, information classification, metamodels, taxonomies, and ontologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with data integration technologies including SOA, BI and data warehouse design and implementation.
  • Experience with HL7 standards (highly desirable).
