Location: Naval Base, Kwinana – Outer Harbour (Kwinana Bulk Terminal & Kwinana Bulk Jetty)
Contract Duration: 6 month temp opportunity with possible extension/permanency
Commencement: ASAP
Hours per week: Full time – Monday to Friday
Hourly rate: $79.50 p/h +super

About the Role;
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Planner to join our Outer Harbour team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning and scheduling of all repairs and maintenance for electrical infrastructure at the Kwinana Bulk Terminal and Kwinana Bulk Jetty.
You will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems by managing maintenance planning, cost estimating, and scheduling activities. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance for electrical infrastructure at Outer Harbour facilities.
  • Develop and manage maintenance plans using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Review, initiate, and close out maintenance activities within Oracle Maintenance Cloud (highly desirable).
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety Regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to deliver maintenance programs effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant electrical trade qualification.
  • Current ‘C’ or ‘CA’ class driver’s licence.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing planned maintenance using a CMMS.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Work Health & Safety Regulations.
    • High voltage switching for maintenance and repairs.
    • Floodlighting and electrical lighting systems.
    • Building electrical services and power systems.
    • Tariff metering systems and procedures.
  • Well-developed skills in:
    • Job planning and cost estimating.
    • Written and verbal communication.
    • Project and program management.
    • Contract management.
    • Computer literacy.
  • Experience with Oracle Maintenance Cloud is highly desirable.
