About the Client
Our client, a global leader in the oil and gas industry, is seeking an experienced Stakeholder Consultation Advisor to join their team on a 12-month contract. This pivotal role will serve as the single point of contact for all environmental and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance across all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. They are committed to responsible environmental management and regulatory compliance, working closely with industry stakeholders, community groups, and regulatory bodies to ensure sustainable and transparent operations.

About the Role
As a Stakeholder Consultation Advisor, you will play a critical role in facilitating stakeholder engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting community consultation initiatives. You will lead consultations and develop advocacy strategies to ensure all operations align with environmental and regulatory commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead stakeholder and community consultations to support regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead consultation efforts for offshore activities, including Environment Plan submissions and decommissioning projects.
  • Prepare consultation reports, stakeholder engagement plans, and advocacy strategies.
  • Organise and participate in community meetings, drop-in sessions, and industry events.
  • Maintain stakeholder databases, track engagement activities, and manage feedback effectively.
