About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Manager to join one of our clients. This role is responsible for ensuring our tenancy and systems are running efficiently, safely and productively always for our workers (employees, Board and Committee members). The Facilities Manager provides oversight and when needed, hands-on assistance to manage maintenance schedules, effective governance, strong contractor management and expert leadership to a team of 10 Facilities Representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement strategic team change initiatives at the direction/discretion of the National Director Employee Services in conjunction with the Senior Partner Change and Property
  • Conduct reviews of facilities processes, including working in partnership with Ahpra’s Health Safety and Wellbeing team to deliver practical, current, efficient and compliant facilities management outcomes
  • Provide expert facilities management industry knowledge to operate as a trusted reform adviser with a focus on generating value from current contracts and services
  • Liaise with building management to ensure that the building is maintained at a high standard
  • Deliver efficient and tactical responses to Log It incidents in coordination with the Property and Physical Security Manager
  • Review and prepare reports on facilities activities and make recommendations for service uplift with a focus on a dynamic, customer-oriented service experience. This includes potential opportunities for report re-design to provide deeper strategic insights to support resource and financial decision making.
About You
  • Strong team leadership experience with diverse teams and office locations, that balances performance, process and employee engagement.
  • Deep understanding of budgeting and advanced leadership/mentoring skills required to support both operational and strategic objectives.
  • Strong experience with Facilities Management ticketing and contracting systems needed to ensure timely management of risks.
  • Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills needed as well as the ability to effectively prioritise personal workload and that of the team particularly when under pressure with competing reque
