DFP Recruitment have proudly partnered with Open Arms – Veterans & Families Counselling who are seeking a Group Program Coordinator in Phillip, ACT. The opportunity is for an immediate start for a 12 month period with the potential of extension of up to three years.
The successful candidate will coordinate the provision of psychoeducational workshops and treatment groups by external providers to the clients and stakeholders of Open Arms.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
  • Stakeholder engagement & marketing
  • Group program planning & coordination for the region
  • Recruitment and on-boarding of facilitators and trainers
  • Group intake, screening and reporting
  • Educational Workshop Clinical Activities
  • Clinical Group Coordination
  • Quality control of service delivery
  • Oversight of financial tasks
To be successful you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in training and facilitation, ideally within a mental health / community sector or
  • Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration or as a mental health accredited Social Worker registered with AASW.
  • Working with Children (WWC)
  • Knowledge of mental health programs
  • Current drivers licence
  • An understanding of the challenges faced by those who have served in the Australian Defence Force
