Job description

  • 12 month initial contract  with possibility of extension
  • APS 4 $43.82 Per Hour + Super AND  APS 5 $55.25 Per hour + super
Our Client is a Federal Government body that supports Australians and their families by valuing a positive contemporary attitude to disability. They are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Project Coordinator to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in Surryhills.

Key Responsibilties:

  • Using project management tools and processes to support workflow and coordination, and group or strategic projects.
  • Reviewing and performing quality assurance of work products before progressing to the executive.
  • Liaising across the Agency on meeting papers or other documentation for supporting the executive.
  • Coordinating work streams within the branch Program Management Office, using project management tools and stakeholder management experience.
  • Planning and booking travel and assisting the executive with other administrative and logistics tasks.
  • Engaging across the Agency on work products, including by collating inputs and feedback, and setting up collaborative work processes.
  • Providing advice to the Branch Manager and supporting the leadership of the division, including in supporting and enabling a team culture.
  • Providing other support or undertaking suitable tasks as required, based on the direction of the Branch Manager.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders on a range of HR related matters, including recruitment, workforce planning, and staff moves.
Key Skills:
  • Demonstrate strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate experience in projects, PMO or business administration.
  • Demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Be prepared to work in a dynamic environment.
