Job description

Our client is seeking a confident and well-presented individual to join their team on a part-time basis (approx 30 hours a week) for an initial 6 months with possible extension. This role is seeking a self-motivated, innovative thinker who is able to work and think out of the box with previous experience in public and media presentation.
 
Duties:

·        Assisting with communications for special events
·        Updating and monitoring web-based systems for all traffic reporting
·        Liaising with emergency services and media, exchanging real time traffic and incident information
·        Liaising with media for traffic updates and enquires
·        Assisting with road work communications

Essential criteria:
·        The ability to build & maintain meaningful relationships
·        Proficient in Microsoft Office & all social media platforms
·        The ability to create a script and deliver this on live radio with upmost confidence
·        Excellent written & verbal communication
·        An enthusiastic & creative mindset
·        A sound understanding of the metropolitan traffic network and landmarks
·        Strong self-motivation and proactivity
·        The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
·        Flexibility with rosters
