The Position
Key responsibilities for this individual will include but are not limited to;
- General processes that meet daily production and quarterly targets
- Ensure all aspects of manufacturing process are planned and executed safely and with targets in mind
- Accurate inventory reconciliation, reporting to site management
- Quality assurance practices including testing of grains, pulses and pellet size are complaint with national company guidelines
- Identify and report non-conformances
- Forklift driving
- Manual duties
- Operation of grain intake system
- Accurate dip measurements and assistance with inventory control
- Assist in stock takes
- Compliance with policies, procedures and safe work practices
- Hold a current driver’s licence and forklift licence
- Have sound knowledge of Occupation Health and Safety
- Proficient with computers and software not limited to MS Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Are reliable and motivated to exceed
- Have outstanding communication skills
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Are able to work shift work and overtime as required
