DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mule Soft Integration Engineer to join our government client team. In this role, you will apply your expertise to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that connect complex systems, deliver high-quality APIs, and support critical business processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverage your MuleSoft 4 expertise to design and develop experience, process, and system API assets.
- Collaborate with Architects, Integration Analysts, Designers, Business Analysts, and Testers to interpret technical specifications and deliver robust integration solutions.
- Assist in defining and maintaining high-quality integration standards across projects.
- Contribute to data integration specifications, including content and structure, to support end-to-end replication between source and target systems.
- Monitor integration performance, perform tuning activities, and ensure optimal system efficiency.
- Create reusable components and assets in accordance with project standards and architectural patterns.
- Conduct configuration testing, prepare documentation, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) activities.
- Training and knowledge transfer sessions to enable seamless transition to BAU support teams.
- Follow incremental delivery methodologies to facilitate early, continuous, and reliable project delivery.
- Proven experience integrating the MuleSoft 4 platform in a complex ICT environment.
- Strong experience in designing and delivering REST-based services and asynchronous event-driven architectures, including API design.
- Formal certifications in MuleSoft and evidence of over 5 years’ experience in integration development.
- Experience working in Agile CI/CD environments and familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, build strong rapport, and manage stakeholder expectations.
