Location: Kwinana
Contract Duration: Until July 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Hourly rate: $41.26 per hour +super
Commencement: ASAP (notice periods will be considered)

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operational Support Officer to join our clients Operations team. Reporting directly to the Manager Outer Harbour Operations, this role is pivotal in delivering high-level administrative support, particularly in preparing and verifying cargo handling charges for Outer Harbour customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assist in analysing Bulk Business key performance data and operational metrics.
  • Reconcile electricity invoices from energy retailers for both Inner and Outer Harbours.
  • Generate and prepare service charges for customers at Kwinana Bulk Terminal (KBT) and Kwinana Bulk Jetty (KBJ).
  • Verify applicable charges in line with established business processes.
  • Liaise with customers regarding invoice details, including purchase order requests and monitoring.
  • Produce reports detailing customer charges, associated costs, and other relevant data.
  • Track and report casual and contractor working hours.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in administrative and customer service roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial information and invoicing systems.
  • Familiarity with shipping and bulk operations terminology and documentation is desirable
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Proficiency in PC and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Experience with financial management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
