DFP is seeking a motivated and professional Engagement and Project Coordinator to join a South Australian Government business unit. The Engagement and Project Coordinator is part of the Strategic Engagement team that provides leadership and oversight for all external engagements with a focus on activities, partnerships and collaborative agreements of Department-wide strategic importance and reputational enhancement. This is a 2-month contract with the potential for extension, located in the Adelaide CBD. The role requires someone able to work 3 days per week and offers an attractive hourly rate of $49.47 plus 12% super.

Key responsibilities include:
- Experience in supporting the review, implementation, documentation and delivery of engagement activities.
- High quality research skills, including collation and interpretation of information and data to support program objectives, reporting and preparation of briefings and other material.
- Experience in the effective coordination of project activities, events and logistics and engaging with industry and business stakeholders.
- Experience in the coordination and preparation of briefings and written reports to Senior Executives that are of high quality, tailored to the purpose and audience and meet strict timeframes.
- Experience in providing administrative support services in areas such as meeting coordination, travel logistics and diary management.
Essential requirements:
- Must have a National Police Check
- Demonstrated ability to manage a dynamic workload, exercise initiative and judgement to determine priorities, and apply a high attention to detail and meet timelines.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing with people at all levels and proven ability to liaise with stakeholders with patience, tact and diplomacy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and build rapport, establish and maintain collaborative working relationships to achieve shared objectives.
