Job description

The Opportunity

On behalf of a Melbourne based Federal Government Agency, we are looking for a Facilities Coordinator. This role will work Monday to Friday, normal business hours and will be based in the office in Melbourne CBD. 

Job Requirements

  • Investigate, report and organise contractors to attend to building faults
  • Conduct daily checks of floors to identify faults
  • Liaise with facilities management team on routine operational matters
  • Mail and courier receipts and dispatch, mail sorting and delivery
  • Switchboard tasks, including blind transfers, introduction transfers, arranging conference calls, logging national and international calls
  • Reception duties as required
  • Administrative support tasks as required
To Be Considered
  • Previous experience within a similar role preferably within Government sector
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth guidelines policies and practices associated with property related services would be advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external service providers
