  • Locations: ACT (interstate candidates who can attend Canberra office at least 2 days a month will be considered)
Job Overview
  
Our Fed Gov client is seeking a Salesforce Solution Lead with deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform to lead one or more teams of Salesforce developers to deliver on their project requirements!

You will work closely with customers from project kick off to go live, collaborating with the business analyst to illicit requirements, and working with the Architects to design a solution. You will champion config over code, leveraging out-of-the-box features, and best practice when customising. You will present your designs to the Design Integrity Forum to meet approved patterns, and work with the Architects if new design patterns are to be introduced. You will manage Salesforce releases through the CI/CD Azure Dev Ops pipeline and manage the Salesforce development environments.

Key duties and responsibilities
 
This is a delivery leadership role, with the following responsibilities:
  • Interpret and assess business needs to design tailored Salesforce solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Develop and present solution prototypes and technical designs to demonstrate feasibility, maintainability and value.
  • Lead the technical Salesforce delivery team to ensure a successful implementation and delivery.
  • Review developers’ implementations, champion best practice and out-of-the-box solutions, recommend improvements.
  • Ensure project delivery meets the requirements for an authorised technology within the Federal Government space including Cyber Security Information Security Manual controls, and records management requirements to meet the Archives act.
  • Manage the delivery of multiple concurrent system development projects from design through to release.
  • Define project-level delivery activities and milestones within an agile environment.
  • Manage Salesforce releases through the CI/CD Pipeline using Azure Dev Ops tooling.
  • Ensure quality of production environments by collaborating with other Solution Leads on common components, release windows and enforcing unit tests and code quality checks.
  • Manage Salesforce development environments including but not limited to test data seeding and refreshes.
 Essential Requirements for the Role:
 
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a leading role in delivering enterprise level Salesforce projects.
  • Deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS)
  • Strong proficiency in declarative configurations such as Flows, Permission Sets, and Security Models.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, ideally within the Public Sector Cloud, including case management and omni-channel routing.
  • Strong capability in Salesforce solution design, including preparing technical documentation, solution diagrams, and alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in tracking and troubleshooting errors in development, configuration and deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing releases through Azure Dev Ops CI/CD Pipeline.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience making persuasive, evidence-based, recommendations that allow decision-makers to make informed decisions.
Desirable
  • Portal and console interface design using Salesforce Lightning and Omnistudio.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining an Azure Dev Ops CI/CD Pipeline for a Salesforce workload.
