DFP are seeking an experienced finance professional to support a busy business and financial services team within the State Government. This role focuses on financial operations, reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and revenue processes
- Perform complex reconciliations and journal adjustments
- Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end reporting
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support
- Investigate financial discrepancies and provide recommendations
- Maintain data integrity and support financial systems
- Liaise with stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries
- Review and improve financial processes and compliance
- Supervise and support team members, including training delivery
- Strong experience in AP/AR and financial reconciliations
- Proven ability to prepare reports and analyse financial data
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Full Australian Working Rights
