About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full end-to-end payroll processing for two fortnightly pay runs (approx. 70 employees and 200 employees on alternating weeks).
  • Interpret and apply Industrial Agreements, policies, procedures, and legislation related to payroll, including taxation, workers’ compensation, and long service leave.
  • Manage systems administration and configuration to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide expert advice and resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally.
About You
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing in a senior or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and industrial agreements.
  • Experience with systems administration and configuration (Aurion experience is a plus but not essential).
  • Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
