About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Full end-to-end payroll processing for two fortnightly pay runs (approx. 70 employees and 200 employees on alternating weeks).
- Interpret and apply Industrial Agreements, policies, procedures, and legislation related to payroll, including taxation, workers’ compensation, and long service leave.
- Manage systems administration and configuration to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Provide expert advice and resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally.
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and industrial agreements.
- Experience with systems administration and configuration (Aurion experience is a plus but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
- Competitive hourly rate with casual loading.
