Job description

Client: NSW Government (details TBA)
Hours: full-time (38 hours per week)
Location: North Sydney/WFH 3 days per week (hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months + possible extension/s
Pay Rate: $70 per hour + superannuation
Checks: double COVID vaccination, full Australian working rights, two references, police check

Key Accountabilities:
  • Supporting strategic policy development by preparing briefings and advice in response to Ministerial and Executive requests.
  • Supporting the delivery of key child protection and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively across government and non-government sectors to improve delivery of services for people that have experienced violence, abuse or neglect

Candidate Profile:
  • A demonstrably high level of competence in brief writing, and written communication more generally, across a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Comprehensive prior experience in policy, particularly in Health, Child Protect, or Human Services
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies advantageous
