- $79.44 per hour + super
- 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
- Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 from home
- Travel up to 3 times per month across NSW
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Publicist – International to deliver high-impact PR campaigns promoting Sydney and NSW to global audiences.
You’ll plan and deliver international media and influencer strategies that generate inspirational coverage and build awareness of Sydney and NSW as leading destinations. The role involves end-to-end management of PR activities, including story pitching, content development, familiarisations, activations, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR strategies targeting international audiences
- Lead media pitching, influencer engagement, familiarisations, and events
- Create compelling media content including releases, pitches, and newsletters
- Maintain strong relationships with journalists and influencers
- Monitor media trends and identify opportunities to promote NSW
- Manage PR budgets and reporting in line with government policies
- Proven experience in PR, communications, or media (tourism or events preferred)
- Excellent writing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Creative and proactive with strong organisational ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
