Job description

Job Title: Technical Traffic Management Officer
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: 6 month casual temporary contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour
Location: Jandakot, WA 6164
Role Overview: Provide technical traffic management advice to personnel to ensure works are delivered effectively to maximise road safety and minimise congestion on the road network. Identify an effective traffic guidance scheme and conduct a comprehensive traffic volume analysis to establish the most suitable working hours for its implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical traffic management advice to personnel.
  • Ensure works are delivered effectively to maximize road safety.
  • Minimize congestion on the road network.
  • Identify effective traffic guidance schemes.
  • Conduct comprehensive traffic volume analysis.
  • Establish suitable working hours for traffic guidance scheme implementation.
 Essential to be successful in this role;
  • Possession of a current Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) accreditation.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and/or on your own.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of a White Card, Blue Card and C Class WA Drivers License
 Desirable;
  • A Diploma in Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience using AutoCAD
