Test Analyst - Mobile Apps and Portals
 
Contract Duration - 5 months contract with extension
Location – VIC
Security clearance -Must be able to obtain Baseline
 
DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Test Analyst – Mobile Apps and Portals to join our government client team. The successful candidate will support the Project Manager in developing the Test Approach for assigned projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager to develop the Test Approach for a given project.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day test planning, preparation, execution, and verification for assigned project(s).
  • Execute testing in a hands-on role, including both manual and automation testing.
  • Escalate testing issues through appropriate channels.
  • Provide regular updates on test progress in consultation with Project Managers and other testers.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members undertaking testing activities, including Business Analysts and business representatives.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of testing delivered on the project, including coordination of other testers where required.
  • Work with Test Automation specialists to incorporate automation into the ongoing test approach.
  • Support efforts to industrialise testing best practices and standards, including tooling, documentation, metrics, reporting, and continuous automation.
Skills and Experience:
  • 1–2 years’ experience executing focused testing activities in medium-to-large scale ICT environments.
  • Direct experience testing web-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary delivery methodologies and their testing implications and best practices.
  • Assertive communication skills supported by strong Testing Subject Matter Expertise.
  • Awareness of accessibility testing.
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment.
