Job description

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for a number of APS4 Budget Management Support Planners to join the reform and transition team. The positions will provide operational and administrative support within the service delivery area.

There a multiple opportunities available in Townsville. These are 12 month assignments and will be paying $43.82 per hour plus super.

Duties will include:

·        Analysing participants records using a range of policies, practice guidance and legislation to make funding decisions
·        Work with participants and their representatives via phone to identify current circumstances and spending patterns
·        Maintain high quality records and adhere to process guidelines and operating procedures
·        Research and review decisions and manage moderately complex cases
·        Administration tasks and data entry

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;

·        Strong administrative skills
·        Ability to work to and meet key performance indicators
·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide information and advice to a range of stakeholders
·        Data analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
·        Competency with IT systems
·        Experience working in a Disability, Service Delivery or Government setting would be advantageous

As this role sits within the Federal Government, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship.

There may be an opportunity to work from home up to 3 days per week following training. Positions are full time business hours.
