Job description

On behalf of a large Federal Government agency, we are looking for an APS4 Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant role is a Cross-Agency position that may work within any branch in the Agency. This will be 12-month assignment and the pay rate will $43.82 per hour plus super.

Duties include:
  • Providing high level administrative support on personnel and financial matters within the Agency
  • Completing operational and/or administrative tasks including the management of emails and appointments.
  • Preparation of replies to correspondence.
  • Preparation of briefing material where required.
  • Schedule meetings and prepare reports and documents.
  • Undertake research and investigations as requested.
  • Organise and support official meetings, travel arrangements and official functions.
About You
  • Strong administration / coordination support experience
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams)
  • Diary and email management, responding to changing priorities and timeframes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a Government Agency would be advantageous
