This role sits within the Analysis and Insights function and supports the delivery of high‑quality reporting, assurance and continuous improvement activities that contribute to a consistent, high‑quality participant experience across the NDIS.

We are seeking detail‑oriented and analytical professionals who enjoy working with data, assessing quality and compliance, and contributing to evidence‑based improvements in a complex, high‑impact environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Apply guidance consistently to assess quality, legislative and process compliance using information recorded in business systems.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative reviews to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide clear, objective and evidence‑based written assessments and commentary on file reviews.
  • Record data accurately using approved tools and formats, ensuring adherence to privacy and data policies.
  • Identify and escalate risks to participants or the Scheme in line with established processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement strategies aligned to branch and agency objectives.
  • Identify best‑practice approaches through analysis and review activities.
  • Support and mentor team members to enhance technical capability, quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Agency.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative analysis.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues and draw logical, well‑reasoned conclusions.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Moderate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Desirable: experience conducting audits or file reviews.
  • Desirable: experience using qualitative data tools such as NVivo.
  • Desirable: qualifications in data science, allied health, public health, disability or a related field.
