APS6 Case Manager – Federal Government
12-Month Contract | Full-Time | Perth-Based | $60.26/hr + Super
DFP Recruitment is a preferred supplier of choice to State and Federal Government departments and agencies. I am currently partnered with a large Federal Government agency to recruit a skilled and experienced APS6 Case Manager for a 12-month full-time contract based in Perth, WA.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of complex and sensitive matters, making informed and timely decisions.
- Provide operational, technical, and policy advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to manage cases efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Prepare executive briefs, reports, and case documentation to a high standard.
- Represent the agency in meetings, negotiations, and dispute resolution processes.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in complex case management and high-level decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience preparing formal documentation.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Awareness or understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Understanding of disability and inclusion principles.
- Familiarity with administrative law processes or tribunal proceedings.
- Location: Perth, WA
- Start Date: ASAP (pending checks)
- Duration: 12 months
- Hours: Full-time, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Rate: $60.26/hour + super (Casual Loading Included in this rate in lieu of leave entitlments)
- Australian Citizenship is required, this is a must have - none negotiable
- Must be willing to undergo a National Criminal History Check, with further screening as required.
