Job description

This Federal government Department's role is to protect and enhance the safety, health, well-being and quality of life of people receiving aged care. 

The Brisbane based team are currently seeking a number of trainers to assist in developing and coordinating learning and development solitions across their National network of offices.
 
The successful applicant will:
  • Provide project management and support functions to coordinate training for the completion of regulatory activities delivered by Quality Assessors 
  • Work constructively with key internal and external stakeholders and provide support to other operational staff as required, to congregate the creation of training material for Quality Assessors 
  • Undertake operational and project support functions within a legislative or regulatory environment to investigate, develop and find resolutions or gaps in training practices
  • Facilitation of Training programs 
  • Participate in project work and operational initiatives to support achievement of Commission priorities. 
Successful applicants will bring:
  • Relevant Qualifications and experience
  • Experience in Training and facilitation of programs
  • Ability to Interpret policy and translate the requirements of legislation into operational practice
  • Proven experience in training coordination and program development including the investigation of learning and development solutions
  • Internal and External stakeholder engagement experience

  • Hourly rate in line with APS experience $55+
  • Hybrid WFH options following successful training
  • 6 month assignment with view to extension/ opportunities for non-ongoing contracts
