Reporting to the Deployment Manager, the Senior Project Officer will play a critical role in coordinating deployment activities, supporting stakeholder engagement, managing schedules and actions, preparing materials, and ensuring project activities are delivered in a structured and timely way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Deployment Manager with planning, coordination and delivery of deployment activities
  • Prepare and coordinate workshops, deployment materials and related documentation
  • Track project schedules, actions, risks and issues, escalating where required
  • Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT and operational teams
  • Coordinate status updates and reporting to support governance and decision‑making
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation in line with legislative and policy requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and effective project delivery practices
Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects and programs in a project officer or senior project officer capacity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Proven experience in organising, prioritising and managing competing deadlines
  • Experience collecting, analysing and presenting information for reporting purposes
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Highly developed skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, change‑driven environment
Desirable Experience
  • Experience supporting large‑scale or complex technology or system implementation projects
  • Exposure to finance processes or financial management systems
  • Experience using Jira or similar project tracking tools
Additional Information
  • This is a full‑time temporary contract through to 30 June 2026, with an ASAP start
  • Adelaide CBD location
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia and able to obtain a National Police Clearance
