Asset Accounting Support Officer | ASAP | Perth CBD | 6-month contract with ext | State Government 

Our state government client is seeking an experienced Asset Support Officer for an urgent 6-month contract based in the Perth CBD.
 
Role: Asset Accounting Support Officer 

 Rate: $60–$65 per hour plus Super (depending on relevant experience)

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Location: Perth WA
 Duration: 6 months, possible extension
 Type: Casual contract (no leave entitlements)

 Key Duties:
  • Support internal/external audits
  • Maintain and update asset policies and registers
  • Perform GL reviews and asset reconciliations
  • Prepare reports and support financial year-end processes
About You:
  • Knowledge of asset accounting standards and FMIS
  • Background in accounting/commerce or relevant experience
  • Strong analysis, reporting, and communication skills
  • Able to manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement
Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain
