Job description

Our Federal Government Client is seeking for multiple positions with Azure Engineer Pipeline experience. This is a long-term contract role until 31 December 2024, located at our client's Canberra office.

You are responsbilities includes:
  • Work effectively across teams to provide systems expertise to enhance and improve existing solutions, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing solutions, in line with business requirements and software development standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the operation of infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
  • Work effectively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the implementation of the Azure platform.
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met and that a high standard of technical and design documentation is provided.
  • Define, develop and document the existing automation technologies to enhance the system's build, test and deployment capabilities.
  • Assist the application development teams with the development and maintenance of DevOps continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
  • Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as required
  • Work as part of an Agile Delivery Teams or the System Team

To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions consuming Azure services - including, but not limited to the following:
    • Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
    • Serverless Compute - Azure Functions, Web Apps
    • Storage - blobs, files shares, queues and tables
    • Integration - Service Bus and Event Hub
    • Identity - Entra ID (AAD), Azure B2C and Entra ID Connect
    • API Management (APIM)
    • Experience with function apps
  • Demonstrated experience in developing Azure DevOps CI/CD YAML pipelines using ARM and/or Bicep
  • Demonstrated experience with managing and migrating solution infrastructure to the Azure platform
  • Experience with GIT version control and common branching strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles and processes in context of Infrastructure management
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders.

It is desirable if you have:
  • Relevant qualifications in IT, including cloud certification
  • Intune management and configuration of mobile devices.
  • Office 365 best practice and configuration in line with the DTA blueprint.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT frameworks, such as ITIL and TOGAF
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Commonwealth frameworks, including ICT frameworks
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an security vetting at the Negative Vetting NV1 level.
