  • 12-month contract (possible extension)

About the client
One of our largest clients is now seeking an EL1 Procurement Capability to join there fast-growing team of talented individuals offering an attractive pay in Deakin.

About the role
The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the procurement functions. The position requires exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support.
The EL1 Procurement Capability is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the agency.
 
Duties
  • Leading the Procurement Capability Programme delivery.
  • Implementing the recommendations of the procurement training needs analysis report.
  • Supporting business engagement on the procurement principles strategy.
  • Creating engaging procurement content about processes for Agency-wide consumption.
  • Delivering Agency-wide procurement communications and notices.
  • Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with business area engagements and presentations.
  • Administering and analysing the procurement capability questionnaire.
Desired Experience  
  • Experience in successfully leading a program of work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Experience in delivering technical training to a diverse audience.
